In the game "Alice is Dead" we find a skeleton dressed as Alice so we figured she is dead. But your minds are to stuck on that thought. If you took time to really look you would find that the hair on the skeleton is still there. In the time it takes for the skin to completely decompose, the hair would be gone. But if some of the hair didn't go it would be on the dress or around that part of the floor. So with this knowlegde I figure that Alice and the Rabbit fake her death to fool the Queen. However with Rabbit's memory problem he forgot about it, and he to developed the idea that he actually killed her.
